IGUAZU FALLS

Location:

The Iguazú Falls are located in the northern extreme of the province of Misiones right in the middle of three important cities, Puerto Iguazú (Argentina), Foz do Iguazú (Brasil) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay). The nearest city to the falls is Puerto Iguazú, only 10.5 miles away. Protected as a National Park, this place has been nominated as one of the world´s modern wonders.

Tourist Attractions:
These wonderful falls are more than 160 feet high and have many panoramic views that always amaze even the most demanding tourists. There visitors can go around the National Park on an ecological train, walk the paths, watch the falls either from above or from below, and then admire the unbelievable "Devil´s Throat", which is the largest waterfall. Also, they can take a semi-flexible boat to get closer to San Martín Fall and Tres Mosqueteros Fall, get wet, go downriver on the rapids and return to the departing place on four-wheel trucks through the jungle.
Highlighted:
THE DEVIL´S THROAT is the strongest fall in Iguazú, 262.5 feet high. People can access it by foot from the station of the same name and watch it from only 50 yards away on a specially designed observation deck that can hold hundreds of tourists at the same time. There are a total of 275 falls in Iguazú, most of them on the Argentine side of the border.
