During the 1930s,
the National Parks Office made some buildings and constructions
that have become an emblem in this city, such as the Civic
Center, a project by arquitect Ernesto de Estrada, which used
to hold a library, a theater stage, a museum, the City Hall
with a clock tower, the post office, the police station and
the customs building. Most valuable are also the city´s
Cathedral, Llao Llao Hotel and San Eduardo chapel, which are
some of the projects by famous architect Alejandro Bustillo,
who was honored with his name on the highway around Lake Nahuel
Huapi.
