BARILOCHE

San Carlos de Bariloche is located over the south coast of Lake Nahuel Huapi, in the west part of the province of Río Negro. It´s the most populated city on the Patagonia Andes. Hotel infrastructure and closeness to Mount Catedral make this one of the most important touristic centers in Argentina. The ski resorts in Bariloche are visited every winter by thousands of skiers from all over the world, who enjoy the slopes of varied complexity and the modern ski lifts.

Cerro Catedral:
This ski center has the most modern technology in lifts and slopes for all kinds of skiers, from experts to beginners.
Isla Victoria y Bosque de Arrayanes:
Taking a boat trip on Lake Nahuel Huapi, we will visit Isla Victoria and continue on to the Arrayanes forest, the only one of its kind in the world.
Cruce internacional de Lagos:
Taking a boat to Port Blest, we will make the lakes international crossing to Chile, navigating Lake Frias to enter Chilean territory to Peulla. Continuing on to Lake Todos los Santos and arriving at Port Varas by the coast at Lake Llanquihue.

During the 1930s, the National Parks Office made some buildings and constructions that have become an emblem in this city, such as the Civic Center, a project by arquitect Ernesto de Estrada, which used to hold a library, a theater stage, a museum, the City Hall with a clock tower, the post office, the police station and the customs building. Most valuable are also the city´s Cathedral, Llao Llao Hotel and San Eduardo chapel, which are some of the projects by famous architect Alejandro Bustillo, who was honored with his name on the highway around Lake Nahuel Huapi.
